Stater Bros. Markets Announces Grand Opening of New 'Blue Ribbon' Full Service Supermarket in Palm Desert, California

COLTON, Calif., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. Markets is pleased to announce the opening of its newest and most modern Full Service Supermarket at The Marketplace at Palm Desert Shopping Center in Palm Desert on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. The Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held in the parking lot at 8:15 a.m., and the new Stater Bros. North Palm Desert Supermarket will open for business at 9:00 a.m. After Wednesday, the new Supermarket will be open Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

In celebration of the grand opening, Stater Bros. will make donations to the Palm Desert Library for the Children's Program; the Indio Station of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department for the Explorer's Program; and the Palm Desert High School Band (who will also perform at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony).
