Stater Bros. Markets New 'Blue Ribbon' Full-Service Supermarketto Open in Cathedral City, California

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. Markets is pleased to announce the opening of its newest and most modern Full-Service Supermarket at the Plaza Rio Vista Shopping Center in Cathedral City on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. The Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held in the parking lot at 8:15 a.m., and the new Stater Bros. North Cathedral City Supermarket will open for business at 9:00 a.m. After Wednesday, the new Supermarket will be open Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

In addition to the new Stater Bros. Cathedral City Supermarket, Stater Bros. is pleased to announce the completion of major remodels at four of the company's existing Coachella Valley Supermarkets. These newly remodeled Stater Bros. Supermarkets, located in Cathedral City, La Quinta, Palm Desert and Palm Springs, have remained open during the entire remodel process and every department has been modified to offer a greater variety of products and more services.

The Company's NEW North Cathedral City Supermarket is located at 67800 Vista Chino in Cathedral City. Stater Bros. has been serving the Coachella Valley for over 29 years (since 1979).
