Stater Bros. Markets Completes $1 Million Major Remodel of 40th Street Supermarket in San Bernardino

COLTON, Calif., July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. Markets is pleased to announce the completion of a $1 million major remodel of its Full Service "Blue Ribbon" Supermarket located at 161 East 40th Street in San Bernardino, California.

The newly remodeled 40th Street Supermarket has remained open in the Stater Bros. Shopping Center during the entire remodel process, and a 4-week Re-Grand Opening Celebration will begin on August 1, 2007.

Stater Bros. has operated a Supermarket at this location since 1970.

In 2001, the current, much larger replacement Stater Bros. Supermarket was opened directly west of the original store. Stater Bros. currently operates a total of seven supermarkets in the City of San Bernardino. Stater Bros. is also the #1 Supermarket Chain in San Bernardino County, the nation's largest county that covers over 20,000 square miles.

Every department in the newly remodeled 40th Street Stater Bros. Supermarket has been modified to offer a greater variety of products and more services. The new enhancements include:
