The sushi revolution has begun in Sunrise, Fla., with the opening of the newest How Do You Roll? restaurant. The fast casual, custom sushi shop opened its doors this week and promises to bring the area healthy, fresh food at a reasonable price, said Chris Barney, franchise owner.
"We believe there are a lack of options in the area where you can find a quick, value priced food product that remains superior quality," he said.
The location, inside the Sawgrass Landing Shopping Center, launched a new menu that includes a variety of new products, such as hand rolls and ramen and Udon bowls. True to How Do You Roll? fashion, customers are still able to customize their rolls, bowls and salads with ingredient options ranging from raw tuna to grilled chicken and cucumbers to strawberries.
"We are the new wave in sushi and welcome our customers to explore their taste preferences through custom creation of their own roll, bowl or salad, without the limitations found in a traditional sushi restaurant," Barney said.
The Sunrise location is the first to showcase the brand's new build out. In order to align the look of the restaurant with its fast casual menu, How Do You Roll? has implemented a more sophisticated design consisting of a muted color scheme, wood paneling and sleek furniture.
"We are excited to offer the neighborhood a fun and inviting, fresh casual dining experience that allows you to treat the whole family without breaking the bank," Barney said.
