About the 2005 All Asia Food Expo
The All Asia Food Expo is the only trade show that puts the spot-light on the rapidly growing U.S. market for Asian food and beverages. Propelled by the growth of the Asian American population and spurred by a passion for Asian cuisine among citizens of all ethnicities, the market—both in the foodservice and retail sectors—has reached more than $15 billion per year in sales.
The All Asia Food Expo debuted in New York City in October 2004. The goal was to create a single meeting place, marketplace and forum for an industry that spans multiple cultures, languages and cuisines. With the support of dozens of industry leaders and hundreds of businesses, it was a huge success. Exhibitors were delighted with the quality of buyers they saw and the amount of business they conducted. And visitors were thrilled to compare and source unique foods and beverages from the Far East, Southeast Asia and Indian Subcontinent – in one place at one time.
This year the All Asia Food Expo will take place in New York City and Los Angeles - the top two Asian markets in the United States.
Exhibitors will include Asian-based food and beverage manufacturers, U.S.-based manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and importers of traditional Asian foods, beverages and ingredients, including branded products, foods and beverages marketed to Asian-Americans, non-food grocery and specialty items, etc.
Attendees will include critical industry segments including: Restaurants, Catering Firms, Specialty Distributors, Full-line Distributors, Importers/ Exporters, Brokers, Traders, Specialty Markets, Supermarkets, Institutional Foodservice, Supermarkets, Hotels/Resorts, Convenience Stores and Ware-house Clubs.
