New York State Minimum Wage to Increase 1/1/2005

New York State minimum increased to $6.00 per hour as of January 1, 2005. It will increase to $6.75 per hour as of January 1, 2006 and to $7.15 per hour as of January 1, 2007. Any increase in the federal wage above the state rate will result in an increase in the state's minimum wage. -NYS Dept. of Labor
