ACA CARES: Christmas 2005 Annual Food Drive

ACA CARES: Christmas 2005 Annual Food Drive Event To Benefit People In Need The Asian Chefs Association (ACA) has come together once again to contribute their time, effort and culinary expertise by preparing gourmet meals for the needy and the homeless this holiday season. On Monday, December 19 the ACA delivered approximately 3,000 Asian Fusion Turkey Dinners to Glide Memorial Church. The meals consist of fresh roasted turkey, steamed vegetables, Asian sesame buns, and dessert. A portion of these meals was boxed and delivered to housebound citizens in need. Participants and key contributors to this year’s food drive include Straits Restaurants, Roy’s, Ana Mandara, Three Seasons, Le Soleil, EOS & Bacar and Thep Phanom and many more. Co-sponsoring the event are the Community Youth Center and Vietnamese Youth Development Center.
