RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo., Jan. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Panera Bread today announced an agreement with Lemek, LLC to develop new bakery-cafes in Maryland. Under the conditions of the new agreement, the Franchisee will open an additional six bakery-cafes on top of its existing commitments.

Lemek, LLC is principally owned by Brian Lemek, who currently operates 36 Panera Bread(R) locations in the Baltimore and DC metro areas. Panera Bread recently awarded Lemek, LLC its prestigious Featured Operator honor, which recognizes outstanding franchise performance in the Panera system.
