BOSTON-- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Turning 65 probably means you have a greater appreciation of the things for all seasons, and nowhere is that more true than at Uno Chicago Grill?. With a new limited-time-only menu for fall, the anniversary-celebrating Uno? is showing that seasonal ingredients are just the touch as the leaves turn and the air becomes crisper.
“No longer the turf of small, boutique restaurants, seasonal ingredients play an important role in our menu,” said Christopher Gatto, executive chef, Uno Chicago Grill. “With our commitment to healthier choices for our guests, including an artificial trans-fat-free menu and transparency with respect to ingredients, it’s only natural for Uno to offer fresh, delicious seasonal ingredients for fall.”
If fall makes you think of pumpkin and apple – and their delicious scents – follow your nose to Uno.
True food aficionados will find themselves off to a great start with Uno’s new Golden Pumpkin Soup, made with a blend of the lesser-known kabocha squash, grown especially for Uno, and pumpkin purees. “The use of exotic ingredients such as kabocha squash is unique to many restaurants, especially those in the casual dining arena,” notes Gatto. “Yet we constantly strive to raise the bar on taste for our guests, who have come to expect something different from Uno.”
The fall menu features several new entrées: a special Salmon, Shrimp & Haddock Combo, with brown rice and steamed vegetables; a Chicken Milanese Flatbread Pizza that is both crispy and mouth-watering; a Chicken Parmesan Deep Dish Pizza that tastes just like the real thing, and a returning favorite, the Brewmaster’s Grill NY Sirloin with tangy Uno’s Wowza Sauce? infused with Samuel Adams Boston Lager?.
As for desserts, autumnal aficionados will love Uno’s new Pumpkin Flan, along with the Mini All-American Hot Apple Crumble and other great menu choices. And even the beverages have a fall flavor, including a Pumpkin Pie Slide, Smashing Good Martini and Scrumpkin Colada.
“We’re excited that we’re turning 65 this year,” said Richard Hendrie, senior vice president, marketing. “For over six decades, we have focused on genuine hospitality, great food and beverage, and a warm inviting atmosphere. Just like the Baby Boomers who were born around the same time as Uno, we continue to reinvent ourselves to stay relevant to our guests!”
Uno Chicago Grill’s special fall items are available for a limited time only. To see the complete fall LTO menu, visit Uno’s web site at http://www.unos.com, or visit the location nearest you.
