The menu is influenced by Fai Wang, an award winning chef himself, with authentic Cantonese, Szechuan and northern Chinese flavors.

Exquisite Décor

As one of its specialties, Grand Palace’s stylish decoration is created by famous architect and interior designer’s team. The restaurant has a Zen-like design sensibility that allows it to connect with diners as they enjoy their meals.

The restaurant’s Main Dining Room shows off the architectural design of the Florence Hummerston Building while the Mezzanine room allows guests to enjoy total privacy as well as the restaurant’s atmosphere. The same characteristics that attract diners also make the restaurant an ideal function venue for all occasions, from intimate dinners with close friends to corporate networking evenings. Then there’s the Mei Function Room with modern Chinese paintings of cherry blossom are posted neatly to display rich Chinese culture. All the modern but Chinese elements, such as the handwriting works, the wooden cabinets and the lighting effect, have brought guests to an exotic and cozy world where they can enjoy their favorite delicacies from the East, and experience a relaxing and romantic atmosphere, which reminds them of a heavenly feeling.

Walking up to the full stocked bar, the design is beautiful and homey, creating a soothing ambiance for gathering and makes relaxation while having discuss or just self relaxation. Specially-designed carpets, seats, sofas, and accessories give homey impression and seem familiar in club’s interior which has earth tone color, with colorful lighting making atmosphere warm. All of interior appear as harmonious unify and represent art appreciation concept.

The Real Things Served

Grand Palace prides itself on providing high quality, healthy and consistently fresh cuisine, prepared with care by its well trained chefs. This included authentic Cantonese, Szechwan and northern Chinese food.

Don’t miss Grand Palace’s house specialties that Fai Wang specially recommends. Seafood items including lobster, abalone, and snow crab are all available at the restaurant and are always kept fresh in the large fish tank. All of these seafood dishes can be customized prepared combining with different seasonings and ingredients. Wasabi Prawns, King Prawn Hong Kong Style, and Patagonia Tooth Fish are also highly acclaimed items.

For those who are not seafood lovers, the menu also offers a vast array of other dishes like Peking Duck-they serve the whole duck in front of you, Black Pepper Fillet Steak, Lamb Cutlet Grilled in Northern Chinese Style, and W.A. Wagyu plus a selection of vegetarian dishes, to name but a few.

Grand Palace pays great attention to healthy eating, and has always made sure that all cooking ingredients are fresh and in season. Therefore, to maintain consistency and quality the restaurant only purchases daily cooking materials from designated farms and food suppliers.

Upscale Services beyond Expectation

Approaching Grand Palace, visitors can immediately gain a majestic feeling through its royal exterior decoration; entering the gate, you are greeted by amiable smiles of the courteous wait staff. It has been Grand Palace’s usual practice effectively communicating with customers. In fact, many restaurateurs know this, but it is really a tough act that calls for patience, care and sincerity.

Most owners of Chinese restaurants generally emphasize food kinds, varieties, presentations and tastes; while in the Western dining room, wine plays an important role in mellowing a dining experience. Westerners have long been enjoying wine well-matched with meals. So Wenny and Fai believe that Chinese restaurants have to serve well-selected wine to glorify their fabulous culinary creations, by which they can gradually be recognized by the Western society, becoming high-class and exclusive catering establishments.

Here served are over 300 kinds of wine, liquors, and spirit, from France, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, China and different regions of Australia. Beverage service has been one of the secrets in Grand Palace’s great success.
