For the first time ever, the Asian Chefs Association (ACA) in San Francisco has advanced to the silver round in the 2009 World Culinary Contest held in Taipei, Taiwan. The ACA would have never thought they would be invited to such a prestigious event for a third time, let alone advance to the silver medal round. Entering an Asian country to cook Asian cuisine pitted against all Asian competitors was incredibly intimidating for a team that got massacred the previous two times.
